CLOAK & DAGGER GUNS TYRES & PURSUERS OF THE CHASE (FEB 22 2017)

Amazon / Create Space this week.

I adore car chases in movies (BULLITT, FRENCH CONNECTION, 007, BOURNE) and TV (MAN FROM UNCLE, the Jon Pertwee DR. WHO, THE PROFESSIONALS, 24). On car journeys while growing up, I used to fantasise about being followed and even possibly tranquillised by some enemy agent. Strange how as one grows up, these possibilities hold the opposite effect!

And from the age of nine, I have always wanted to write a story that was effectively one long chase from beginning to end, with THE CHASE in the title.

CLOAK & DAGGER: GUNS, TYRES & PURSUERS OF THE CHASE (BOOK 4) is a challenging experiment insofar as it describes and hopefully sustains the momentum on a chase from one end of the United Kingdom to the other – with, I hasten to add, a plot.

The locations selected (from the North to the South) have been entirely up to me, mostly taking in places with a personal connection, or in the case of one region my parents.

Whether the experiment succeeds is up to the reader. I’ve certainly spent time on it, albeit alongside other projects, since June 2015. Time to move onto the next script and next book in this series.
