THEODORE VERIL: Suave but sinister consultant who runs the Inner Sanctum facility and makes it pay through private referrals & public exports of the herbal relaxant Summer Breeze. 50s.
NURSE THORNTON: Waspish ruthless sidekick whose love for Dr. Veril has made her lose all sense of moral judgements. 50s.
ANN JUDITH: Stubbornly independent freelance reporter who senses a big cover-up about Dr. Veril, the herbal relaxants & the Inner Sanctum. Late 30s.
CHOKUNGA: Black wing man of Dr. Veril whose sense of right and wrong is in conflict with his employer’s demands. 32.
